This project involved the $131.5 million replacement of an outdated bridge spanning Kentucky Lake. Construction included a 3,611-foot-long, high-level structural steel bridge over the lake. The project included a 550-foot tied-arch span and plate with girder approach spans ranging in length from 292 feet to 365 feet. The bridge is supported on 72-foot diameter steel piling with lengths up to 199 feet.
