On Monday, September 4th the official opening ceremony for the Queensferry Crossing in Edinburgh, Scotland was held, marking a monumental occasion. A huge milestone was achieved last week on July 31st at the Portageville Bridge Replacement project when AB crews successfully completed the final closure of the 483′ pinned arch structure. The milestone comes exactly 142 years – to the day – after the existing structure was first opened to rail traffic.
